Identify both sources
Kate Aspen's current refund-policy page says a return authorization may be requested within30days of receipt for eligible items. Its general FAQ gives a15-day window. We record that difference rather than silently selecting one as a universal rule. A source link and observation date make the unresolved condition reviewable for a shopper.
Keep exclusions separate
Both sources distinguish nonreturnable categories, including personalized goods. A general eligible-item window does not make a custom glass order refundable. The selected personalized product also has specific breakage language. Do not summarize all of these conditions as easy returns. The exact product, seller and issue need to be checked together.
Do not transfer a policy between sellers
The manufacturer's direct-store policy says it cannot accept returns for goods bought from a third-party retailer. A matching brand or SKU does not make all seller terms identical. If another retailer offers the same item, save that retailer's current selected conditions separately. The site's three official-store observations do not establish a tested return process elsewhere.
Separate a return from cancellation
A request before production and a request after receipt are different events. The FAQ says changes or cancellation are unavailable once the order is processing. That is not the same as a30-day eligible return window. A buyer should not assume that a future return policy permits a personalized order to be changed after processing begins.
Ask an exact question
Before ordering, identify the selected SKU,personalization status and relevant issue. Ask which current written policy applies and what authorization is required. Preserve the response with the quote. A general reassurance that the company wants customers to be satisfied may not resolve a specific exclusion, time window or product-page exception.
Do not promise a refund outcome
This website has not placed a test order, returned a favor or received a seller decision. It does not provide legal advice or guarantee eligibility. A request may require original packaging, resalable condition, authorization and actual shipping arrangements under the applicable terms. Do not invent a free-return label or assume outbound shipping is refunded.
Use the discrepancy in planning
If flexibility matters, resolve the policy question before choosing a nonreturnable or time-sensitive custom item. Keep the purchase count and event deadline separate from the seller's decision. A correct budget does not remove transaction risk or guarantee a remedy. Independent content and commerce review remain pending before publication.
Keep policy clarification with the actual seller
A customer-service response should identify the selected order or product and the relevant condition. Do not transfer an answer from one retailer to another merely because the brand is the same. If the response changes or clarifies a public policy discrepancy, save its date and scope. A general goodwill statement should not be rewritten as an unconditional refund promise. This reference records the public30-versus15-day conflict and leaves actual eligibility to be confirmed rather than giving a false universal answer.
